ShotgunSam
Hi folks, I'm new here and fairly new to pigeon shooting too! I was wondering... is is safe to freeze pigeons once they're prepared (i.e. plucked, cleaned and gutted) and if so, how long will they keep in the freezer. I have a large chest freezer and was hoping that I could stock up! Cheers, S

steve_b_wales
Like most meat, pigeon will suffer from 'freezer burn' if left for too long. Wrapping them in foil/clingfilm and paper, then placing them in a few layers of carrier bags should help protect them for longer.
