please dont jump on me , as i dont know who else to ask ,

so here goes .

just bought a webley Axsor carbine in .22 cal , lovely rifle overall , but very low in the power stakes.

i have chron'd it useing a quality chrono and various pellets , the most power i can get out of it is around 10.4ftlb , i need at least 11.5 , this rifle will be used for rabbits around the horse paddocks , and i would like it to be able to humanely dispatch them at 30-45 yards.

so if you can help , PLEASE e-mail or pm me with any instructions or advice.

many thanks

Darren .

a 40 year old responsible shotgun and airrifle shooter , not some power crazy nutter.

Darren your Axor should be putting out about 11.8 ftlbs... I would suggest you have it checked out at the smiths, Sounds as though it could be something quite simple like a failed seal. I had some problems with the regulator on my Logun Axor which produced a lack of power. ( around 9 .5 ftlbs ) which was a similar problem.

Dont despair they are great guns and more than up to the job in hand.

FM.
