my first time decoying

hi

went over my grandads farm this afternoon 2 try some decoying for a couple of hrs

was my 1st ever time trying decoys i new that alot of birds were feedind on the rape

seeds he has just put in so tryed it on 1 of the fields.

it went well i thort for my 1st time and abit of poor shooting i would of got alot more.

i notised that pigeons were feedind in small groups so set them up that way in 3 and 4

ended up with abit of a mixed bag.

not a big bag but i didnt come home empty handed.

shot a couple more crows but they fell into trees behind me and i couldnt find them.

was a nice afternoon 2 be out and enjoyed it

i was just pleased that it worked more than anything else.

its a start its good stuff watching them gliding in towards u.

just hope it works next time was a good wind up 2.

need 2 get some decoying books 2 get clued up on it more

main thing is if u dont try u will never learn.

You faired better than me this weekend.

 

I was going to go decoying over some potato's that had been left to rot in the field (rubbish plough or something.)

 

Anyways, I was going to go saturday, but the weather was raining like hell, so I let someone else go in my place.

 

Found out today he shot 168.
