By invitiation, I will be having a day on some fresh drillings tomorrow , which looks like it could turn out to be a promising day. There hoards of birds about, but the f-lines are high, so I think I'll rig 2 Rotars up in order to persuade them into shooting range.

Last September, I tried to get on the stubble on this particular farm, but was told that it was covered. I left my name and phone no- and to my surprise got a phone call yesturday....................... Just goes to show that a failed ';door knock' dosnt always spell defeat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lol::lol:

I will let y'all know how I got on.

Had 19 woodies and 2 crows between 7.00am and 12.00, then a lull until about 2.00.

Managed to account for another 41 between 2 of us througout the rest of the day. Missed bloody loads aswell!, If we's shot all we'd put up for, I recon we could have been into around 140!!!! :*)

Had a cracking day, the farmer was pleased, and took 20 of the bag for his freezer.

Needless to say, we've got as much pigeon shooting as we want there now
