Hi Pavman only reason I pm,d was I believe site rules dont allow the promo of other sites??

PW is an excellent site but NV is a specialist branch of shooting and covered in depth elsewhere I have found.

Will pm you so you dont feel left out

Use nigth vision my self in the from of an ATN Paladin 390 rifle scope good bit of kit.

NV can be absoultly damaging to rabbit popluation, every say that night vision unless you are spend silly some of money one don't bother.

Mine is gen 1+ according to the booklet that comes with it.

I have now got lightforce 170 lamp IR filter and you can ID rabbit out to 100yrd with this and a fox about 150ish. I don't because i don't feel it safe too. AS you can shoot much closer as they can't see you.

One thing with NV is that have to make 1000% certain of tragets and back stop as they are green in colour which is odd to start with. As nearly shot the farm cat by trying to push the evepole a bit to far one nigth.

Its good bit of kit on 17HMR but on 22lr could be devastateing to a rabbit popultion.

Down side is that you can get spliting head aches from using them, as one eye tell you it drak and the other dose not.

On the whole good kit when used propley.
