LeeinVA
I drove all over the sprawling metropolish i affectionately refer to as C'Ville.. I hit two seperate gun shops and was blown away by the empty shelving where ammunition had once been found I asked, Kenny, the owner of the last gun shop as to why he has no ammo? The rumor was that our new president was going to tax ammo at a rate of 600% He never did, nor had he plans of doing so.. So many fickle Americans started stock piling ammo.. Nary a round can be found this day and i feel it shall be many moons till the situation rights its self..

fullbore
Well your right to bear arms is in place to defend against bad government. What sort of Viking didn't ready himself and stockpile the old arsenal, or were you too busy stuffing your face with taters and phone books? They might be good for stopping that girly 5.56 round but what happens when you come up against a 1000 yard shot from a 17 hmr?

So I was not surprised when news of the record level of ammunition purchases hit the web. I cannot predict how he will act on firearms as president; there may well be some measure of backlash from the individual states if he interferes with their autonomy too much from the federal level.
