ferretmanabu
Got my SGC renewal and FAC application interview on Saturday morning. Hopefully, all things going well, should be ready to buy a HMR within three weeks. The .223 and .22 can wait till I've got some more cash. ferretmanabu
Three weeks?!?! Not if Glos police have anything to do with it! After my SGC visit last time, it only took a couple of weeks to come through. Hopefully, they'll get a move on because my SGC has already expired on the weekend. njc110381
If it is that quick then that's great. To be honest all my minor dealings have been faster, only the grant took ten months! You getting a gun like mine then or something more posh?

What different models are there? What's the best options on barrels and things?
njc110381
You can get a heavy or light barrel, 16" or 21". I've got the short light weight model. I don't think such a small calibre needs to be heavy because it doesn't get hot at all. You can get synthetic too but I don't like them much, although that is just personal choice. I've just found a great one for you, check this out!!! http://www.cz-usa.com/product_detail.php?id=

ferretmanabu
Had the interview today. FEO is happy for me to have the 22, HMR and 223 and no mentoring conditions. Restricted to approved land though and he said they might knock my request to hold 500 .223 rounds down a bit. Should all come through within a month he reckons. Happy days.
