Power Adjustment - Rapid 1

I have just ordered a Chrony F1 and obviously will be checking my Rapid 1's power once it arrives.

My Rapid 1 was bought (last year) and collected by me from the Theoben factory. Therefore it should still be factory set...(yes?)

What setting is that likely to be?

Could it have varied since I bought it? (if so, why?)

How difficult is it to adjust the power on a Rapid 1? (I do not under any circumstances wish to exceed 12ft/lbs and break the law by the way?)

What is the setting closest (and under) 12 ft/lbs that you can set the Rapid without risk of breaking the law?

I'm not the most technical of people so if adjusting the power is anything like difficult then I shall go to my local gunshop. That said, if it's relatively easy I don't want to waste my money.

Your advice would be appreciated. :good:

Thanks

Hi redkite, just remember that it must not exceed 12 ft/lb with ANY pellet that may be put through it. not just the make that you put through the crono. With this in mind I settle for something around 11.5 on mine, easily adjusted by regulating the screw on the rear of my Mk 1. :good: Above 12 turnes it into a firearm :hmm: and all the unlicenced problems that brings.

In a nutshell tweedledee
