old rooster
March 31st Whitebridges started this topic, what is the significance of that? Are we to assume that every post today is an April fools joke? The frightening thing for the future of shooting is that far too many people are coming on here and are still ignorant of the law regarding toxic shot. I was referring to his post today (1st April), I'm sure it was a wind up as we all know that wildfowling with lead shot has been banned for some time (except in Scotland). As with most legislation it is about as clear as mud, I've heard some say that shooting at any quarry within a certain distance of a watercourse requires the use of no toxic shot. Ergo if one is shooting pigeons in a field next to a river non toxic shot is required ??. Apologies if you thought my comment flippant or offensive. Whitebridges
Happy Apri foolsl, ha ha. My post was about how suitable these shells are for shooting pigeons. We always seem to go off topic on this forum.
