Lez325
Being a newbie to shoguns - I have a question for you more knowledgable folk I have a Beretta AL 391 Urika-It came with a case and 5 chokes- no markings on the chokes but they do have coloured bands around the end. my question is: what do the colours represent in choke sizes??? - I do not have a choke gauge! Chokes colours as follows: YELLOW ? I use this at present RED X 2? ( one of these has the word Skeet on it) BLACK? BLUE? Thanks guys Les Edited April 30, 2009 by Lez325

Beardo
it'll probably say printed on the barrel what type of chokes they are - remove the front grip and have a look. Sounds like Optima from your other post
throdgrain
Skeet chokes are for shooting skeet with mate, it's a clay discipline
Beardo
sorry if there was a confusion, i was referring to what type(manufacturer) of choke as opposed to what they're used for
The Burpster
As posted in teh other thread with a slight change...... Full F * White 3/4 IM ** Black 1/2 M *** Green 1/4 IC **** Yellow Cylinder CL ***** Blue Skeet SK None Red Beretta Skeet chokes are actually slighty more open than true cylinder, giving a bell mouth effect to spread the shot as fast as possible for skeet. If you have 2 skeet chokes sell one one on gleebay as they sell like hot cakes - Normally Berettas as only supplied with one as std, for skeet with an O/U if you use 2 you get the best effect, so there is always someone wanting one.
