Sundowner
Went out at about 10 this morning. After having set up , within 5 mins, I had the first one. Then it was slow, 1 or 2 pigeons every 15 mins, missed most of those ! At about 1pm it started, they came in thick and heavy, this is where I developed "RMS"(Red Mist Syndrome) and I had to start focusing on a particular pigeon. I ended up with 32 picked up, 8 in the hedge and the swamp field behind me! Bonus were the 3 jackdaws! It was really windy, anyhow, that is my excuse for missing as many birds ( cartridge to kill ratio = 3.5:1, I know ........LOUSY SHOT !!!) And just to set the scene : The "killing field" Edited May 5, 2009 by Sundowner
