I have used them for years and love them, mine have become very old and tatty. I want to replace them with some NEW ones but it seems UKSHOOTWAREHOUSE no longer stocks the standard head up/ head down ones on there site. Anyone know why? Regards Turk

Cranners Not so much as DIY but I use a fishing pole that I had from years ago! Can be picked up at boot sales for under a score and that's a decent/adequate length too. ATB Turk

Hi all have'nt been on here for a while, but the time has come.... I am now here selling a German Shorthaired Pointer(Black & White. The sale aint for me it's my brothers dog and the intention was he was taking the dog to Cyprus with him, which was meant to be NOW, Unfortunately circumstances have changed and he is no longer emigrating. This has forced this sale as he will have to move somewhere else soon. Anyway lets get back to the dog, He is 7 months old full pedigree, has all papers and docking certs. Fully vacinated to date and is 100% not gun shy. The dog will need a fair amount of training, but has potential and is a super example.... Great shootin m8, Just my opinion but even if u was doing it for sport it's still CROP PROTECTION and the farmer would be well chuffed. As I said just my opinion, just think too much is made of all the PC in this country. Turk101

Well dome m8 great bag and quality shooting. Ringer? do u mean racer? If so once it's over the deeks it's not a racer anymore, sure I read somewhere that it's ok 2 shoot them if over the decoys. Agreed! but still great sport and the farmer will be happy lol. turk

I agree with motty, I to have had large amounts of fresh shot birds out, sometimes I don't come out of the hide unless I'm 100% certain there are birds upside down or there are winged or live birds! Sometimes if it goes quite or I see the birds are struggling to get in to the pattern or are flareing badly then i'll go tidy up. Otherwise I'm not really fussed how big the pattern is. Just my opinion Turk

What a difference 5 days makes, there is now a lot of rape stubble and a lot of wheat and barley and pea stubble. Obviously to much options spent most of the morning trying to locate any decent amount of birds but barely any about. Spent an hour or so shooting some rabbits around the edges. Then tried a field of rape stubble that had a few birds on, they lifted of and only a few retuned probably about 6 to be precise and all of them were droped between me and my uncle. So all in all a terrible day for the woodies but still enjoyed myself as always. Turk
