colloc
Hi, I use both .243" and .17 HMR for bunnies and foxes. Whilst I appreciate the benefits of lamping it does tend to announce yourself to the neighbourhood. I am contemplating night vision but do not want to double up on rifles and scopes, can anyone with experience of using the night vision adapters i.e. Cobra Merlin etc. give some recommendations or advice? Thanks in advance
steve_b_wales
Hi mate, I use a Cobra Merlin NV with scope attachment. It takes a bit of setting up, but once done, it's good. To enhance the IR, I have attached (to my scope) a Blaserlite lamp with IR filter. When used with the Cobra, I can see up to 150+yards. any other questions, PM me. If you get one make sure you get used of seeing though it brfore you use it, as it big differecne. All to easy to have an accident with this kit. As nearly shot the farms cat one nigth not a good idea. dave
