pete evans
i have always been under the impression that a 2 3/4" shell shot from a 3" chamber doesnt pattern as well or have the same velocity as a 2 3/4" shell shot from a 2 3/4" chamber. Now i know that a 3" from a 2 3/4" is dangerous pressure wise and shouldnt be done. in the shooting press i notice that most guns are chambered 3". does this mean that people compromise their gun performance for the occasional time when they use 3" shells or have i been misinformed all these years? pete
