Wookie
A friend of mine is doing her DSC1 at the end of this month (I think) and needs to do the whole shooting standing thing. She's going to be using her .308 target rifle for the course and it's a tad heavy, so she'd like to borrow a set of tripod shooting sticks for the week. Is there anyone in the MK area that can help out? If you post here, I'll let her know and she can contact you directly. Cheers.

Bleeh
I use a couple of extendable tent poles (fishing hide or something) tide together with a bunch of string... They really don't have to be bought.
garyb
Hide poles with a bungie wrapped round does the job for me...

Burti
Wanted to say thank you for your posts... have made a decision and have gone for option 3, the hazel, total class! Will keep you posted, DSC1 starting on the 16th July in Ilkley, really looking forward to it, then maybe be able to get hunting rifle I'm after. Still should be amusing using a .308 target rifle over 100 yards for the course, hope the surrounding villiges have their ear defenders on! By Jove!
