Windy
Popped over to High Lodge this afternoon. Had a good session, and weather was good. Last time I went they still had the stands set up for the recent championship competition, the wind was howling and I shot truly awful! To make things worse, was only my second time out with my new gun, so knocked my confidence with it. Today was getting back to my previous standard with my old s/s sable......upwards and onwards! Peter De La Mare
I really enjoyed shooting at High Lodge. Shame it's so blummin' far away.

starlight32
Haybales? Haybale shoot.... Sorry for not explaining. Normally a local shoot normally on a sunday, can range from diy where you trap yourself to fully automatic. Prices a lot cheaper than high lodge too. I have sent you a pm of some known locals which I frequent.
Windy
cheers. I suppose High Lodge can be a bit renty, but its a decent set-up. me and my shooting buddy did about 100 carts each. Think it cost about £57 all together. Apparently there is new place going to open up in the Fram' area soon?

Wookie
Oh dear. If that's the case, I can see myself slipping away for a sneaky round of clays before Mrs. Wookie gets out of bed next time I am back at my mum's house.
