Newsportshooter Posted June 15, 2009 Report Share Posted June 15, 2009 As above I have an old Volvo 740 GL estate for sale. This car has tax to the end of the month and MOT till September. I live in Watford and will be almost giving it away Wednesday night for £150. The cars old, but works well, has a dent in the FNS wing but apart from that is sound. 2.0l engine, auto box, ps, e/w c/l heated seats & mirrors + its a 7 seater. I bought it to move some **** to the tip rather than pay for a 2 x skips - absolutely perfect for the Skip on wheels role or as a general transporter or even a cheap family wagon..... By no means perfect but not far from it (and will need a N/S/F tyre for the next MOT) - but I have to say for the price this car is well, Well worth it. PM me if interested - I am off to NZ on Thursday and am moving more Household stuff Wednesday day so it will have to be collection Wednesday night if you want it..... I'm not going to mess around with folk wanting pics etc this is a 18 year old volvo estate, its red (but the paint has oxidised to a reddy pick colour) and it has 4 wheels (well 5 actually as it has a inflated legal spare in the boot) the car is sold as seen but honestly I dont think theres anything major wrong with it.. The buyer will be happy for the cash I promise. Let me know fellas. Cheap motor (not sure if it qualifies for scrappage but may be worth buying for that reason alone.....) PM me if your interested. This car is a genuine bargain. I honestly would prefer to see it go to a good home than to the scrappers - it is honestly worth more in the condition its in....
