  1. Go with your heart and get a defender, mine is a 1086 90 and I only paid £650 to insure it when I was 18, Go on admiral, normal quote, and put people with a good and long driving history as named drivers on, reduces it by alot
  2. Brilliant shoot, hope you had fun
  3. I started off with a cheepy ebay one, bolt onto tyre job, put about 1000 clays through it, bit of strengthening and new bolts, but got a bowman no3 now, which is absolutely fantastic, alot nicer to use, and alot of extra flexability with tagets, I would go for an old bowman off ebay if looking for a cheap one,
  4. If you want some good advice, stick an advert on ebay, It does actually work

    4x4

as above i am looking for a couple of cheap 4x4's, I run a small business selling pigeon shooting on out family farm and am looking for some nackered 4x4's for the summer, happy to pay some money for the right things and collect, looking for anything really, diesel would be nice but not fussy, an old fourtrak, sport trak, rusty disco's, pajero, let me know if you have anything, can pay money or provide some free shooting in exchange, also looking for a quad bike, all the best Charlie
  11. well done in getting her, she looks really good and best of luck
  12. always at the wrong time, looks a nice gun, good luck with sale,
  13. you say disco gearbox, if it is the disco gearbox the gear stick will be in the wrong place, or has it just got disco transfer box to give a higher gearing ratio? apart from that dealer would advertise for £5000, if i were you i would take the winch off and offer for around the £4250 mark and hope for £4000 ish
  14. I may have had this if it was for sale in 4 months, good luck with sale
  15. if it is a light colour use it as a white board
  16. SOLD Nice little 16b s/s, would make an excellent starter gun, hardly kicks at all, This gun has not been used much from new, the barrels are spotless and the action is still very tight, feels like it has not even been worn in yet, selling due to needs funds for travelling just putting some pictures up, they do not do the gun justice, Stock has one small mark but it perfect otherwise Comes with a box of 16b 3 crowns catridges, welcome to view and give if a try
  17. at the end of the day grab a haynes manual, and be willing to get a grinder out on bolts (not drive train bolts) apart from that it is not too bad really, just be carefull assembling the clutch, make sure you change the rlease arms and bearings, and put the new one's in the same as the old one's came out whilst checking manual, apart from that good luck and parts bills add up rather quickly!
  18. I know of one that has survived to 400,000 mileson the clock with just one new head at 300,000, you have done very well there at the engine and boxes are probably worth 600 - 1000 alone
