Thinking about a Theoben or AA410

All,

I have got a bit of a Bunny problem but the Springer I have got (Remington Genesis) is too noisy, so I am thinking of getting a decent PCP (non-FAC). I like the idea of a Theoben as I can get it refilled at my local dive centre so I wouldn't need a bottle and they seem to get a lot of good reviews. The other obvious alternative is an AA 410 - but then it is a bit obvious!

What sort of price shoould I be looking to pay and are there any problems I should look out for?

cheers,

Both are excellent rifles and as accurate as each other.

As long as the rifles exterior looks decent, I would use that as a guide to the way its been treated (IMO).

If I were you, I would get myself down to the ranges in Devizes and try both and whatever else they have in stock. They are good

For prices try here

Thanks for the advice. A couple of the boys on here, who are local, go down there and say it is very good. Will give 'em a try.

Yup, they have loads in stock and are very helpful and friendly.

I have pestered them loads of times for advice and a look at kit and they have never made me feel obliged to buy anything.

I have just sold my AAs410, which is a pity as you would have been more than welcome to give it a try.

BTW, S410s are great.

The theoben will give you a higher shot count, so less trips to get re filled, but for that the gun is a bit front heavy.

The theoben i find is also more accurate, but not by a great deal.

The s410 is lighter, has a pressure gauge and a better magazine-i find.

the theoben also leaks.
