jay222
im having a bit of trouble with a gunpower stirrup pump, i think the valve inside it must be jammed because i have disconected the pump from the rifle but the pump is still hard to operate as if it was still under pressure, has anyone else had any problems and if so could it be sorted? bruno22rf
If its a few years old it may need lubricating-you should be able to get a service kit for it.Failing that it could be a blocked filter-most pumps have them built into the line-try taking it out and giving the pump a go without it. jay222
its only a few weeks old, how do i check if the filter is blocked?
bruno22rf
If its only a few weeks old then dont touch it at all-its still under warranty and any attempt at repairing it will invalidate your warranty-take it back where you bought it from and get it fixed-if you've bought it second hand then ask the previous owner to send it back for you. teal27
Just a thought, have you released the preasure from the pump after you disconected the gun from pump? by the preasure release valve?
