jcf1
As per title in really excellent condition. Scrollwork on reciever, gold trigger. 4 chokes - 1/4 x 2, 1/2 and full (I think although I need to check). Also can be used fully open as this is the model with external locking threads. Fantastic condition, few tiny dings but nothing even approaching serious. Sympathetically and thoroughly cleaned after every outing. Never failed to cycle every single cart I've stuck in it. Also has a magazine cut off. Right handed. No choke key - but not required as its an external knurled locking ring. Barrel mint. Incredibly the manual is also included (providing I can dig it out of the loft!)... Fantastic little semi - only selling to downsize the collection and sticking to the o/u. 2+1 so SGC. £290 Cert holders only, face to face preferred or RFD to RFD at your cost. Will consider a swap for an appropriate quantity of decent pigeon carts. Why get a cheapy turkish gun when you can buy something that will hold its value and never let you down? First to say they'll take it on this thread gets it - regardless of pms/questions/smoke signals etc. Keeps things simple. Spent a long time removing the camoclad tonight - here's the piccies, as you can see she's in great condition inside and out: Click for piccies Edited July 1, 2009 by jcf1
RussB
How old is it and how easy is it to remove the camoclad? Regards
jcf1
No idea as to age to be honest, although I guess you could research it. I've had it 6 months, being fairly new to pigeons I'm selling as its become clear I shoot better with o/u guns. The camoclad comes off pretty easily - if a bit fiddly. I'll be taking it off in due course for piccies unless someone wants it to stay on.

Mutt
A lovely classic semi-auto and just the sort of gun I have been looking for now that I have started to get into pigeon shooting properly. I own a Beretta 687 sporting that I have been using for clays without issue for many years and I do appreciate the Beretta craftmanship. But I would prefer a good semi-auto for rough shooting. As you say why go for a cheap Turkish gun (and believe me I was seriously considering something like a Hatsun-Escort) when you can have a timeless classic like the 302 for the same price. I am seriously considering saying I'll take it, and I am a shotgun cert holder of course. But I live in Luton Bedfordshire so we could only do this deal RFD to RFD I guess. I searched the RFD directory and I believe the nearest to you is Bond Gun Assessories, 33 Tynte Road, Polden Meadows, Bridgewater, Somerset TA6 4LA. The nearest to me is Bedford Country Pursuits Ltd, 97 Brickhill Drive, Bedford, MK41 7QF. If you are ok to deal in this manner, I would be willing to investigate the RFD charges both ends as long as you could commit to taking the gun to the Bridgewater shop at your end. I must admit that I am not quite sure how I get the money to you, and what the total RFD charge will be, but no doubt the shops will advise and as long as the charges are reasonable, we will both be happy. Please let me know at your earliest convenience and I will set the wheels in motion. I'll check the Pigeon Watch site regularly to wait for your reply. Thanks, Mutt. Lez325
Nearest RFD to Taunton is West Country Guns in Wiveliscombe Les
jcf1
More than happy to drop it at west country guns Mutt - I think they charge £25 plus whatever the courier fee is. Let me know mate. I do have someone else in a similar situation - they are due to let me know where they stand by the end of the day. I'll stick to the thread promise - whoever states they'll have it first on the thread gets it. Edited July 2, 2009 by jcf1
marlin vs
Iv'e got a pair of 302s and I can vouch for their reliability, the 302 came out in the early 80s and are about 24 years old, the one here is a great example., it looks like it has had little use for it's age, or else has had a lot T.L.C.
