Toombsy
If you mean something to rest the rifle on, I just used a couple of rolled up blankets wrapped up really tight in a bin liner. It did the job Edited July 1, 2009 by Toombsy

John_R
If I recall correctly, you are shooting a spring air rifle, so the advice to use a bag rest or similar (a firm cushion or two) is right. If you can zero off a bench, or a B&D Workmate or similar, make sure the forend of the rifle is supported by the bag, don't let the barrel take any weight, and sit on a stool or chair. Always put the rifle in the same place, and hold it the same way for every shot. You cannot hold a springer too firm or it affects the recoil and your accuracy will go to pieces. Do you have a big barn you can do this in, to avoid the wind? If not, you'll be best waiting for a still day.
