Deako
daz, Haven't tried that one, but this one has so far stopped ALL spyware from hitting my machine: http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html I also use spybot S&D just to keep a check on things though, but so far no problems! rjimmer
In my experience: SpywareBlaster will not stop everything. AddAware will often find things that Spybot Search & Destroy has missed, and sometimes, but less often, vice versa. You should install all 3 and run the last 2, once a week. Install the trial version of ZoneAlarmPro(firewall) and run the Cache Cleaner, but deselect the 'Show Privacy Advisor' checkbox. It makes my PC freeze up! ZoneAlarm spyware software seems to find stuff that the others don't, but I thought that might be a sales bluff! Purgeie will get rid of any coockies that you don't want and all your use history. I found that one way is to install the 15 day trial version and then uninstall it once you have run it. That way I got 15, once a week, uses out of it. Not sure if that still works, though! Gemini
Watch out for this one. It comes in as an email and you think it is something from ”Spybot” W32.Spybot.OFN G.M.
