barrie0
After buying a secondhand 391urika 391 , I have every choke with it except 1/2 which I always tend to use , so I am going to buy a replacement choke however I am not sure if i am using standard beretta chokes or the optima bore chokes in the gun that I have , looking at web sites some say 391 urikas have optima chokes however looking at teauge chokes site the ones I have look like standard flush fitting ones . Do the optima chokes have any special markings on them to indicate what they are ? as mine just have the stars and a few letters on them . chrisv
Try measuring the choke length, you may have to use a bit of guesswork, cos mine are extended. Excluding the extended bit, my standard Beretta/Benelli choke is just over 51mm long. The Optimas are about 70mm. The Optimas do say Optima on them. If you want any more measurements just ask. Hope this helps Chris Edited May 20, 2005 by chrisv
barrie0
Thanks Chris I think that clears things up as I must have standards as no sign of optima written on them , at least standards are cheaper and I have seen replacement beretta chokes in my local gunshop . Edit - You were correct as I have just been down the gunshop and bought an original Beretta 1/2 choke , thanks again .
