hairyduck
I've just picked up a secondhand Blaser F3 How has everyone got the weights set-up in the stock, I've tried a few different p[osition etc but still not sure which to go for? Any suggestions as to a good starting point?
VicW
A good starting point with any o/u is so that it balances at the point in line with the hinge pins.My suggestion is having tried the gun like that you then make it slightly muzzle heavy, say balance it about one inch in front of the hinge pins. This slight muzzle heaviness,in my opinion, makes the gun easy to control in the swing.Muzzle lightness can make a gun a bit 'whippy' and make it easy to swing through targets to quickly. Haven't F3's got barrel weights as well? Vic.
P~MX
Hi, I have 3 Blaser F3's -- 30" & 32" I have took the stock bolt weights out of all of them and I just use the stock bolt holding the stock on, in my opinion this makes the guns swing really sweet. f3x3 Edited July 18, 2009 by f3x3
BlaserF3
Hi, I agree with f3x3 regarding the stock weight, the gun feels much better with no weights in the stock at all.
