Sammy_D
Hey guys. Ive recently got a few pigeon decoys. Problem is that they dont stand on their own. They have about a 2mm hole in the bottom of them. What can i make to get them to stand on their own out in the field? Will a simple stick do the job? Greenhunter
Do your decoys have a loop on their backs? If they do you can use that to suspend them from wire coat hangers. All you have to do is cut the hanger in the center of the long straight side and then bend the two cut ends back so that you make a hoop with the hook hanging down inside the hoop. Hook your decoy on and push the cut ends of the hoop into the ground and you will have a decoy the swings in the wind as well as standing out above the ground cover. If you can't do that you con drill a hole big enough for the spring sticks you can buy or any stick will do but its better if you can get some movement out of them. utectok
you can usually train them with a whistle and some corn to stand where you want
