Kron
I am having trouble getting dead birds to stay on a bouncer using what I believe is called a V-section wing spreader. Should I be using some string or other device to keep them on? or is there a way of sitting them on top of it that means they stay in place? Thanks in advance K
steve_b_wales
My bouncers have small crocodile clips to attach to the wings. You could always attach the wings using these.

Thanks in advance K I use to stick the floater/magnet centre pole up the birds vent, then stretch the wings out onto the v-section spreader, but found i always had problems with the bird sitting funny. I dont bother sticking the centre pole up the vent now,i lay the bird on top, spread the wings out as normal, but at the end of the centre pole,i have taped wire to form a v shape ,this is used to slot the birds head into,it works fine,no mess and the head stays in a good position,i normally shoot crows and also use croc clips to help keep the wings in the right position, hope this explains-and helps you out,if you need me to post pics-let me know and i will get them up in the next few days BB

Lancs Lad
Normally just stick the spike through the vent and then the V spreader spike through the nuckle of the wing joint.
