TomV
Arrived about 8am queing traffic was not too bad! not as bad as some people had described! A really good day out, picked up some bargains from the stalls and didn't do too bad on the clays either!
J@mes
Got there around 8:30 on saturday and spent 20 mins in traffic which was fine - massive amount of stalls although maybe it's just me, but I didn't really see that many bargains. Lots to see and do, but had finished walking around and was ready to leave by 1pm. Same old problem as all the shows though - there is masses amount of unused space, and they need to make the actual stalls bigger so that people can get in and walk around. Half of them I couldn't be bothered to battle the crowds to see what they had.
paul1966
went today got there about 8am no traffic jams at all, a bit pricey to get in, didn't see any bargains really, don't think I'll be going again it didn't seem allot bigger than the midland game fair. seen george digweed and his entourage on the clays. all in all not a bad day out. groach1234
All these people who claim not to have seen bargains seem my response is as to what you consider to be a bargain one of my frineds got a 3 piece Purdey suit and the breeks for £350 not cheap for a shooting suit but as that should have cost well over £1000 still a bargain in my eyes unfortunatly by the time i was there today at about 9.30am all my size had gone George Edited July 26, 2009 by groach1234

TomV
New webley & scott gun slip for £10, double entry squirel trap for £15 and few other bits and bobs!
Condor
Food there amazingly expensive - was stunned to see lunch for £72 for 2 in the Members Restaurant (tent with plastic chairs). Lunch at the Members Deli £15 a plate of cold meat and salads! Saturday was horrendous, crowds everyhere, couldn't get near the stalls, or even walk around easily, but today much better. The clays were so crowded yesterday that stands were taking 45 min to an hour each to complete on the 40 bird comp. Bought some Beretta clothing heavily marked down in the sale, would go again but prob not bother with the clay comp.
