Recommended Posts

right after reading so many forums and getting confused on different things said for the same questons posted by others thought i would ask myself and see what happens:-

first of all thought that i would take the big plunge and go for my shot gun cert.

now the big question would be which gun to be looking at getting budget is a bit tight

so is it o/u or s/s

what chokes

barrel lenghts

bore etc

been shooting air rifles for long time now and the pigeons just keep coming, time to get serious equipment for the job.

any advise would be greatful

many thanks

If your budget is tight then why not consider a semi-auto? Price generally lower than O/Us and great for the job. I know many people knock the Hatsan Escort semis, but a lot of shooters here find them more than good enough for the job - you can get used semis in reasonable condition for upwards of £100. Maybe a Remi 1100 or even an older Beretta. They are great all round guns and nice for clays too!
