bunny_blaster
I went out on saturday after the pigeons on the rape stubble. Got there about 12 and around 300 lifted off one field so after watching for about 20 mins i set up all my stuff along a hedge. Eventually got in to the hide and after about 5 mins the heavens opened and it didnt stop all day. Only managed to shoot 27 pigeons in 6 hours so i packed up and went home. The pigeons just didnt want to know. Well after the wash out day on saturday i went to another farm on sunday just down the road and noticed a few pigeons coming into some barley stubble. I set my hide against a bale in the middle of the field with 2 bouncers and 8 plastic deeks about 20 yards out and within 2 mins the pigeons started coming in. I had a steady flow of birds coming in all day but by 4 o'clock they stopped so i put the magnet out. As soon as i got back into the hide they started coming in again. I started at 11.30 and finshed at 6.30 with a total of 104 pigeons and a crow for exactly 150 shots. Good news is the job i was ment to be going to today has been cancelled so im going back out in a bit to see what i can find. cheers Ben
