shotgun666
they recon there ok not to heavy, but you have to machine them when you get them to fit your gun.thats what has been putting me off doing it,as ive got a w&s bolt action 50-55 quid then fitting Edited August 4, 2009 by shotgun666

Zapp
Yep, I have a W&S B/A with a 9 inch hush. As stated, it was about 50 quid to get it fitted. It's a neat bit of kit, once you get used to the length and balance, which yes, is pretty front heavy. Are you in the market for one? I could be convinced to part with it. Drop me a PM. Edward
Thanks for the offer Zapp , but I already have the gun So its about 100quid all in. Is it spring air rifle loud or pcp?? (I am guessing spring) Thanks for the replys
Zapp
It's louder than both, depending on what background you are shooting toward. It would be about £100 in all to get yours modded. Unless of course you want to swap your unmodded one for my modded up jobby and slip me a bit of cash (a lot less than £100). I will be looking for an unmodded .410 to start my lads off soon and this could be a good solution for both of us. ZB
Edward
Oh right, is it quite enough not have to to wear ear defenders ?? Thanks for the offer again, but i am quite attached to it
Zapp
Fair enough. You wont need ear defenders by any stretch, but the "rolling" sound of the shot can get directed back toward you if you are shooting alongside trees/hedges etc. It is definately worth doing ZB
Mattw
It normally sounds like a .22 un moderated rimfire going off. bit of a crack but you dont need ear defenders, and yes they are quite barrel heavy!
Edward
Is that using subs or HV in the un moderated .22 Basic question now what is the effective range of a .410 14grm 6s ?? Zapp
Subs I'd say. I use my .410 out to about 25-30 yards. ZB
