lordofthewings Posted August 10, 2009 Report Share Posted August 10, 2009 Could well be trying to teach grandmother how to suck eggs, but seeing the amount of grain thats been combined reminded me of an old gamekeeper telling me that at this time of year the availability of grit was as important as the availability of the grain, and the birds will hang around better.
