Glensman
I bought a few boxes of the Buffalo BB's, they are a heavy round. I've very little intention of firing them from my Beretta but the brother in-law was gonna use them for foxing from his Browning Semi-auto. I think it's chambered 3 1/4. Will this be ok? Are people familiar with these cartridges? Thanks for the help lads! Edited August 21, 2009 by Glensman
Delbert
Not used Buffalo but as they are Gamebore cartridges the service pressure should be marked on the side of the box.As Buffalo are a 70mm cartridge (according to the website) therefore they need a minimum proof of 3 1/4 tons which normally equates to a 2 3/4" chamber the proof is usually stamped on the side of the chamber I'd be less than surprised if the Browning was in fact 3" chambered. Glensman
I bought the last 3 boxes the local gunshop had a while back, they said they would never get them in again- I dunno if this was because they can't or don't want to! Anyway, to cut a long story short i'm down doing a bit of hunting in Roscommon and I only have 5 rounds with me, no box and was just makin sure they wouldn't damage the brother in-law's Browning Semi, which he tells me is marked 3 1/4"... --not sure of the weight, I'll check tomorrow!
