Mitch
I am considering applying for a fac to keep rimfires, can rimmies be kept in the same cabinet as my shotguns, I have a locking top box for ammo which is inside the cabinet. I have shooting permission for shotties so cant see a problem with the application, also have been advised to make application expanding, I assume this is to accom greater power at a later date, any advice would be appreciated

Mitch
By expanding do you mean ammunition ?? I read this info somewhere, I assumed it was so I could upgrade at a later stage on the same ticket, I believe you have to state what ammo/gun you are gunna be using on spacific land etc. having always had sgc I`m new to fac rules n regs, At this stage it more of a costing exercise before I put in an application. kier
Hi you can keep rimfire ammo in a locking top box with shotguns and rifles , expanding ammo is normal as I see it. I had to move my cabernet to a safer location (upstairs) to get fac. ask for atleast 500 buying and 600 storage .22s It seemed a lot to me at the time but I now know I should have been more.
