AJL
I travel to Widnes each week where one of our plants is. There is a regular steady flightline past my office and I am sat watching a good 100birds in a couple of laid patches of corn. The rape stubble had hundreds in last week or two. Seems no one shoots it. If you are in the area of postcode WA8 8NS (just off the A562) , take a look. Apologies if someone does shoot this area but there are so many birds and I have never heard a shot go off. Sadly I cant get at them with work otherwise I would be there now!!! Sniping with the .22 out of my office window would frowned upon! Someone get at them! Alastair
mossy835
the farmer may not want any one on there.
NICK76
I will check it out, i did send a letter to every farm in Widnes, in fact ive sent over 240 letters out to farms in the northwest, with only 4 replies of "no thanks". As this is my home town i will defo look into it, you never know i could have been looking for a permission all this time, and there might be one ive missed right on my doorstep!!! but its more likely the farmer does not require any help, anyway thanks for the "heads up" AJL. Regards, Nick.
Mr Potter
You can check with him via. pm but I am sure Deako has a good lump of pigeon shooting in that area, it's not far from Liverpool Airport. Regards Mr Potter
