Guest topshot_2k
depends on what you are shooting? it is perfectly legal to shoot rabbits and fox
Baldrick
Your mate has been misinformed. You can use a shotgun every day of the year, and at all times of the day and night, providing you i) have legal authority to shoot there, ii) abide by legislation governing quarry species, and iii) your activities don't constitute a nuisance to others. There is nothing that stops you lamping rabbits at 0300h on Christmas morning, if you chose to.

shot shot
unless he lives in northern ireland, there shouldn't be any problems If he does, only rabbits can be shot on sundays (not sure about foxes) and I believe that there on some holidays you can't shoot
