Still it was a nice looking fox and at the moment thier doing nothing more than annoying me really, so if anyone wants a homemade fox trap gimme a message. I just bought some timber and made a frame 1000x700x500 I then wrapped this in chicken wire and cable tied it in place on 5 sides. I then made runners on the open end and a simple gravity sliding door. I set the trap with a chicken carcass tied to string looped out of the cage and over the roof where its connected to a peg holding the door open, fox pulls chicken, string pulls peg out of door, door shuts. Simples! Not the best made, or most sophisticated, but it worked And the parents are away soon so the fox will come again next week. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
