bentbarrel
Hi everyone, Ive decided i need some movement in with my decoys, so has anyone made/got any plans for a homemade flapper as im not to keen on paying the price some companies want for them! Cheers.
clueless1
OK, third attempt at this. I'm not being allowed to do what I want with the pics so will try something else. If you fold a bit of card in half and draw a silouette/outline of the bird then cut this out. You'll need to leave a double head if this makes sence ( I'll try for a pic). I traced this on to some 10mm stable matting left over from when I sound deaded my S2 Landy. Actually I've just finished my first one about an hour ago now having the same thought as yourself. Getting the wings in proportion is tricky but can be done, basically the same. Card in half, draw and cut out. Both bits took me a few attempts and I ended up using a decoy I have as a guide. Try for the pics now. Hope this helps a bit - any questions just ask. Hope this helps a bit. Obviously there is lots still to do but pretty happy for a first attempt. Cheers.
