clueless1 Posted September 13, 2009 Report Share Posted September 13, 2009 (edited) Being new to pigeon shooting I wanted to save some cash but wanted a flapper/floater decoy thing (not sure what they're called really). First, I got a bit of card, folded it in half and drew an outline/silouette of a bird. Cut this out and ended up with something like this. I then traced this on to some stable matting I had left over from a previous job and cut out with a craft knife. Did the same for the wings. Took a few attempts to get everything in proportion and ended using an full bodied decoy as a guide. Ended up with this. Still got lots to do regarding tidying up and painting but pretty happy for a first attempt and 1/2 an hours work.
