The shoot is operated on a walk one, shoot one basis. Not big bird days but good sport had by all, averaging 30-40 bird mixed bags. Birds are put down, I know, I'm bloody knackered feeding and watering them. Lunch is not provided, but we all have a breakfast in a cafe in the morning and a pack up in a barn at lunch. Included in the cost is access to 1100 acres for pigeon shooting all year round. The land is mixed arable and some marsh. This shoot has been run by my brother for 14 years. The cost is £460 per gun, the only other cost being the beaters on the day which normally works out to £10-£15 per gun. PM me if interested for more details.
