kernel gadaffi
I use a right handed HMR and I'm a cuddywhifter, I normally shoot prone off a bipod when using it and keep my right hand under the recoil pad, and when its time to reload I just bring my right hand forward, cycle the rifle and put it back where it was. Lez325
CZ 17 HMR stocks are ambi - however if you prefer a left handed bolt action- go to ant RFD who can order one to suit- although you may pay a premium for this - The stock will be the same as a right handed CZ Im a lefty and shoot a R/ Handed CZ 17 HMR with no problems at all Les
George1990
My CZ Varmint is right handed, and it has a right handed stock, as there is a palm-swell which fits the right hand. My dad's left-handed american does not have the palm swell, but has a left bolt.
dax
Thanks for the replys guys,I think i started out the wrong way, My first rifle is a cz115 22lr 8 shot semi auto right handed with the spent cartridges unloading across my face i`ve had bits of debris in my right eye on a couple of accasions even with my specks on,However after reading your comments if i had gone with the bolt action i would`nt have had this problem,I have a couple of hw100s with the ambi stocks and i find them spot on,Having taken on board what has been said i will go with a right hand 17hmr bolt action and change my 22lr for the same, After thought would you say the bolt action just has the edge on the auto.
