Policing the pheasant feeders

I don't normally go out with the sole intention of nobbling squirrels, but was helping lay some sewelling this morning at a small shoot I beat on. The owner told me to bring a rifle as the few feeders he puts out are getting trashed by the squirrels. I shot four in total, one on another feeder to the pic below, then these 3 on the same feeder. The last one was literally standing on his recently deceased mates, to get at the feed! All in about 5 minutes as I wandered along the edge of a wood, not being particularly stealthy. I think I need to go back and sit up in an OP overlooking a couple of the feeders for an hour or two.

Good job.We are going to have to do similar with some of our feeders, but with us it's Roe!They don't normally bother the feeders but there are so many Roe around at the moment they're walking around in three's and sometimes four's,and can empty a feeder in a day!

Nice shooting by the way,and nice rifle...what is it?It reminds me of a BRNO but that trigger isn't standard BRNO and the wood looks too good!
