Weekend on new drilled barley

I took a phone call from a farmer, asking me if I could help out. Was told here was lots of pigeons on her fields.

Drove over, sat and watched for a while, returned Saturday with one of my club members. Set up and had a good shoot. Returned on Sunday with more club members. The total for the weekend was 226 and a couple of crows. Weather conditions were westerly winds, cloudy with sunny spells. Situated in Cambridgeshire on the A1 corridor.

The field was firstly drilled with wheat, and had black grass, the farmer had ploughed it in and reset with barley. As the roller was coming off the pigeons were coming in. So any one with barley fields keep your eyes open.
