Very reluctant sale but have to rationalise gun collection. Virtually unmarked,(nothing photographable) 2.5 yrs old Pics here http://s530.photobucket.com/albums/dd343/r...%20400%20fenix/ £175 plus post (about £15 RMSP) and paypal if applicable First to say 'Mine please' on thread gets it and in saying that you confirm you are over 18 yrs old. 3. In August this year I bought this gun from Air Arms Dav#d. Fab gun. Will duplicate the ad I bought it from off off AAOC. ( Unfortunatly now deleted.) Can't sell there. Not a 'trusted' member..... Duurrhh Since I bought it I have only zeroed a scope and not fired a shot since. Hence the sale Here goes:- Right hand S400 carbine, BTAS tuned. Great HFT rifle. Pre A/T. 2005 Cylinder This gun was BTAS tuned, not regulated, two years ago. BTAS rework the hammer so it taps open the valve like a toffee hammer rather than the whack in the standard gun.. This gives 30-40% more shots per fill and a flatter longer power curve, so around 100 shots from a carbine. It also has a stronger hammer spring and the top section has been machined to accept a thicker section breech seal so less seals shooting down the barrel..!!! This gun was used by Davids son to achieve Kibworth Junior Champ 3yrs running. Unmarked new style beech stock with rosewood cappings etc, Action has minor marks from scope arrestor but that's all. BTAS custom Barrel band AA MPR fully adjustable trigger UK Neil Airstripper with removable cone, rare horizontal slot type. UK Neil polished filler cap Beer Huntered trigger. See http://www.a2kda.com/trigger.htm Manual Fill adapter And I'll even throw in a Bisley gun bag!! This gun is super sweet and is only for sale because I can't justfy an HFT only gun when I don't do much ( read any ) HFT. Pics here http://s530.photobucket.com/albums/dd343/r...S400%20carbine/ Would cost well over £600 new with all the works done £ 350 plus post ( About £15 RMSP ) plus Paypal if applicable. ( See tears smilie ) First on thread to say 'mine please' gets it and in doing so you are confirming you are over 18yrs old. Please contact me via email if interested Thanks Relivingmyyouth __________________
  4. 7litre tank, £3.40 and around 60 fills. At around 6pence a fill, I sure aint gonna argue
  5. Funny how you seem to have put an offer in on plenty of the airguns for sale. Seemingly they're all well below the asking price
  6. If they're pre anti tamper, their value has rocketed. I have seen late Non A.T. S410's in perfect nick fetching more than new ones. I'd probably pay it too for a good one....
  7. Come on people. This is very important. SAVE OUR SPORT
  8. Any piccies of the wife? Just thinking perhaps I'll divorce mine and marry yours!!!
  9. Check out the chambers Gunmakers website for the exploded diagaram. It is a fairly straight forward proceedure. I have stripped mine a couple of times for lubes etc. Don't buy an ox spring. They say it will fit but it wont. John Knibbs or a genuine Cometa spring is best Good luck.
  10. I seccond that. Ox springs - decidedly dodgy
  11. Definitely not the Meteor. It is not pwerfeul enough in standard form. They have however recently released the Meteor MK7 which is 'Full Power'. I don't know much about the Supersport as I've never fired one. I have a Cometa 400 Fenix and I absolutely love it. Yes it is full size but not heavy. Beleive me, it is deadly accurate. And will take any bunny out to 45-50 yds. The Fenix would get my vote.
  12. Don't buy the bisley one !!! They are a complete waste of time and money. I had to drill mine out to 8mm to stop it deflecting pellets erratically. I have had this with other Bisleys as well. I beleive Vmach do a good one but I haven't actually seen one.
  13. As far as I know, the MK7 is 'full power'.
  14. I see AGW have clearly been watching this thread and have done their own review. Can't wait to see the V-mach version!!
  15. My Raider 10 likes The Weihrauch F+T Specials so I'll use those in that. The Weihrauch likes Dynamic SN2's so I'll stick with them. Some people like the AA Hunters and the RWS Superpoints. There is some support for RWS Hollowpoints and all my guns seem to like the new Crossman Premier Hollowpoints. I'll stick with domes and see what happens. Thankyou all
  16. Domes it is then. Thankyou all.
  17. Hi all, It looks as if I may have my first big permission and I need to get it right. From the point of view of a clean kill every time, what is better, the big impact of a hollowpoint or the penetration of a pointy point ? Thankyou all for your anticipated input
  18. There is also the Gamo Delta and Delta Fox which both get good reports. Plus of course our old friend the BSA Meteor. I have a Cometa 50 for my 8yr old daughter and my 10 yr old son had a Cometa 100 to start. Steer clear of both if I were you. He now has a 220 which is great but it has a full size stock. I found with my lad he didn't really enjoy it until he got a gun with an adjustable trigger. But now he is well away. Let your lad choose if you can.
  19. Nice one. It's nice to see comment from someone who actually owns one rather than people commenting on what they've heard but never actually experienced. Good on you..
  20. This months Airgunworld has a nice little article on this very subject. In the shops today!!! :yp:
