We started last week but have just got going well today ,thanks to the weather. This is our 2nd year of having the rape straw bailed. They pay us good money and we also save a fortune on diesel not running the chopper. Downside is a little bit more compaction from baler plus chaser etc. Im pretty sure our contractor is selling it to the power station. pigeons everywhere and its just pizzed it down so I'm now shooting tomorrow

Cheers nick thats handy i thought it was more :(

please dont reply telling me how to shoot safely as i already know . What i was wondering was if you fired a rimfire using subs from shoulder height in a straight line, how far would it travel before hitting the ground, the same question for shooting 45 degrees in the air . Also if you fire it straight up in the air how long before it came back down ,how far away from where you had the shot would it land and how fast would it be going on the way back down. Probably no one knows but i was just curious :(

All mine go to the local zoo park, 50p each for rifle shot with the guts in so no messing about

Glad you liked it mate ,i did fairly appalling on the clay round 26/50 probably due to the farm owner taking the wee wee and generally being silly but i also managed 7 on the random and my made was leading with 8 until your mate did better.

There is a small clay shoot tomorrow at a little village called Hamerton ,just off the a1m in between huntingdon and peterborough. Its at a friends farm for charity with the stand spaced out so its a nice walk around and then theres some random stand as an extra if you wish to have ago. Last year was a good afternoon . It starts about half 12 and i think its about 40 or 50 bird ,bbq and drinks. Its worth having a look if your local and you can follow signs for hamerton wildlife zoo to get there

Ive decided to sell my Escort semi auto 12 bore shotgun as im now after a franchi 712 raptor so i will part ex with cash. The gun is a 3" magnum in mossey oak camo,it comes with all the chokes ,butt spacers, other spares , manual and box. This gun is aprox 1.5 years old and has never had a cycle problem and and its always shot either 28 or 30 gram shells perfectly. There is some signs of wear on some parts like the pistol grip and around other controls but overal its in good condition. This will be an ideal starter gun and i bought it to see if a semi auto would fit my needs ,which it does and im now after a more expesive gun. Im after £180 for the gun GUN NOW SOLD.
