Hi all
Strange request...it's not for me so don't judge haha.
I'm looking for a small electric disability scooter.
Long story very short the father in law had a stroke a few month ago and since this he's been quite housebound and becoming a little bit depressed 😔.
I'm looking to get a small scooter to see if we can get him out and about again and to the local shop etc... looking to see if anyone has one no longer needed before I go to the bay of e etc..
Hopefully it's not going to be a full time needed thing just to get him over this hump..
Thanks in advance...
phone the citezens advice......they should sort him out ..fill out a PIPS form and he should be able to get extra money and a mobility scooter for his needs
phone your local council as well ...they might have a fund for such things .............

For the best roast chicken its got to-be a rotisserie oven, they do a rotisserie air fryer but there's not much room for anything else when cooking a whole chicken on the rotisserie.
totally agree.....in the early 80's i bought the Mrs a cannon cooker (gas)..and that had an gas flip down grill/ rotisseri.....we used it regular for chicken or a boned out breast of lamb.........................
as you say rotissi roasted chicken ....nothing better...or duck or pork or lamb...........never ever did beef tho'

i remember the 1960 something "silent spring"..........it was the kick up the **** to the farming industry to stop using DDT based products.............luckerly....DDT became outlawed (not in France tho).....and within a couple of short years..the songbirds recovered
Magpies are on the increase....a few years ago me and my mate were walking back from pigeon shooting and passed a large silver birch wood in the marshes.......it was starting to get dark andthe birds were coming into roost.....we have never seen so many magpies in one place...there must have been at least a couple of hundred
you can imajine the damage they have done during the nesting season
the problem needs to be rectified now not down the road when it is too late..

I have to take the occasional nap in between posting ,it’s tiring work trying to wring answers out of some posters. Yet they choose to debate their position on an open forum so they can’t have it all their own way. Plenty BASC PR but little in the way of accountability. 😴 Wake me up in an hour.
i think this conversation would be far better held in a pub....

And there was me thinking you were a hard Norfolk country boy.
do you do a menu/plan for the week or just go each day with what's available at the co-op?
i shop every 3-4 days .....i have one dish that i will definatly do....then i hang around other websites on the cooking section to look for ideas...then i modify them for my own use.........then the other dishes are from watching my mum cook whilst i sat at the kitchen table doing stuff..

IZAL " now please wash your hands"
when you went in the loo after lunch at skool if you peered down into the bowl there was always a sheet floating there looking like a negative impression of a down shot of mount Fuji
