- Harden it ....cherry red and depending what steel you have quench in oil or water
- clean and slight polish
- maybe put on a steel plate and slowly heat up so the colour changes to irridecent blue
- removed from heat
- let it cool
- fit to gun
- if it dosnt fit ...heat to cherry red and let it cool slowly so it is annealed and you can work on it
- start at number one again

instead of doing a sweet chili stir-fry...........did a sweet&sour stir fry with a bit of grated lemon zest....
(some left for a snacky tea later)

- MAPP gas burner
- hammer
- file
- O1 steel stock
read how to harden ...anneal...temper
do it yourself......its reasonably easy

i often wonder about the disconnect of our generation and the young people of today
if they saw this video ...what woud they think ....would they think the same as us.....would they understand the humour in pathos.......
perhaps someone of a younger age enlighten us......................or are we really old fossils now
