Great day in Urbalshinny. And there's a Warblshinny in Derry.

Ollie, I like that video for three reasons: good shooting, well filmed and shows a bag that is not gargantuan. Makes me feel better about my tally.

Yeah, the grass is growing up through it. I'm no farmer but it don't look good.

Mini rifle competition.

OK, I've got it to work.

GREENGRASS, I love your work. Will you say how you post your photos and retain the definition and detail?

I wanted to illustrate a point on Guns and Equipment but no joy. I will try imgbb.

I bought a new iPhone with 12mp camera and was looking forward to posting here. I can't do it. Even when reduced to " Small " they won't post. Can we have an update on how others are doing it. PB is history.

I paid £57 for a case of the same,6's, but in fibre wad. I haven't tried them yet.

The HD thing was a mistake, but unless a desire is there for an easing of the restrictions then it will not happen, but the shooting fraternity must show the desire. If you talk it down it will never happen. Northern Ireland, The Islle of Man and the Channel Islands have these rights. Why not everyone else? It would be a long road but only if shooters really want those rights restored.

Watched a field of barley all month. So wet the farmer couldnt cut it. He cut it Wednesday after a few good days and it had flocks of crows and pigeons on it even in the pouring rain. The forecast was good for Thursday so a massacre was being prepared. Thursday morning was sunny and dry with a good breeze over the cut stubble. I set up and shot a crossing woodie after a few minutes then......nothing. Finished at 5 o,clock exactly for 20 birds. You didn't do so bad.

Good video and the sound of the shots is realistic which adds to the quality. Which shotgun are you using?

Two weeks ago I built my hide over a field of cut OSR. I was worried that the pigeons were seeing me as a few pulled away from the pattern, however a huge buzzard flew in to eat a dead bird, shot earlier. So the buzzard didn't see me, but later another hawk I could not identify, flew in and settled 15 or 20 feet above me in the branches. I sat watching it and listening to its call. I began clapping my hands and making noise to observe it as it flew away. No luck. It sat on for a minute or so before taking off. Maybe their hearing isn't so good.

It's great to see fellow shooters stand up for another one. Well some. I guess some never set their keys down on a kitchen surface for a second, ever, or god forbid, leave them in your trousers. Can't Pay... is television and those guys love the presence of firearms. I watched it and the bailiff could not wait to get into he attic when he found the keys to show them to the camera. Did anyone see the episode where they found some Airsoft kit?
-
That's me that is. Two recent days brought 20 and then today 18. All woodies though and over OSR which is new for me. I've never shot more than 50 ever. I've a few more days planned over barley.

I enjoyed it and found it helpful. I spent today decaying for 18 woodpigeon but missed loads of crossers so the sightpicture alone is a help.

It looks like the bullet seating stage is not set correctly as it is crushing down further than needed.

The two guns most seen at competitions are the benelli M2 or the beretta 1301. The beretta 1301 is an awesome shotgun in looks and feel. I have never used the Benelli M2 but loads of international shooters use it. Not all semi autos are suitable for mag extensions, which are a must for Practical Shotgun. Select you're loading belt/system carefully.

Superb

I took a few hours on a field of cut OSR. I brought my Yeoman, just bought, to try it out. A great days sport. I missed plenty but those I hit I killed, no runners. I guess the half choke and no. 6's does it. High birds and crossers are not my forte but it worked today. As I was clearing up I found someone's lost bino's. They look like a decent pair once, heavy.

I'm looking for a Trap Gun.
Sorry we dont sell clay pigeons.

I have a Mossberg 500 which I use for pigeon and crows. I was thinking of using it for Practical Shotgun in manual division. Does anyone else use theirs for Practical?

So. Rabbits?
Uncut barley....still.

Who would be a farmer with our weather. I stopped by this field again to see if it was cut, and maybe to see were any birds flighting in. The Combine has been here for weeks.
