yeh m8 the rape here is very poor too but here they are talkin about resowing later on they dont do much peas round here but u never know ps get out m8 better than sittin in the house lol

had the same problem on sat morning it snowed first thing and when we got to the shoot there were 600-700 birds on the rape but we just could not get them to decoy 6 guns 8 fields every time we moved they just went to the next field or wood .we shot 34 birds but hey beater than goin shopping with the wife lol

fair comment toombsy but if u cant give him the protetion he want he will look else where (been there ) some ones always looking for shooting remember its his lively hood at stake if it was urs whot would u do ?

i use an old 25ltr plastic tin and i put it in an army kit bag then u can put u r decoys in it and anything else u want to carry .once there empty it turn it up side down and uv got a perfect seat

henry d is right about the decoys but the see through nets are good av got 2 picked them up in florida $12.00 each (pro bass shop on line )but old army nets r ok to

does anyone use two magnets in there pattern when shooting over rape av heard that its the muts nuts but av never tryed it if so where do u place them ? :look:

dedication m8 defo am goin to an estate a pick up on tomorro the keeper tells me there are thousands on the covers crops . 8 guns spead over the estate should keep them on the move fingers crossed lol

hi in east lothian were gettin 40 p per bird but coz of the lack of birds av heard that its goin up to 50p wooooooo by the way rabbits are £1 .20 each here

try tellin the farmer who sfeild is gettin stripped that uv shot 100 birds and that enough bet ull soon be lookin for a new farm to shoot over my best day was one day last summer on rape stubble started at 9 30am by 12pm i had fired 250 cartridges and picked up 187 birds had to stop as it was to hot for my dog and after pickin all they birds they were f ------ so a had no choice but to stop lol

hi m robson what u say is very true is was a bad hravest here .the thing seems to be that all the feilds that were direct drilled are bear and any birds are still on late stubble alot of birds have appeared in the last few days so yeh the snow probably has helped

yeh thats a fair amount but its the same old thing tryin to get them tied down to one or two fields seen alot to day on an estate i pick up on ill keep u posted ?

hi just new to the site from east lothian(out side edinburgh) and we dont have any pigeons round here just now is any one having the same problems last january we shot 450 where have they gone ?
