I would get your money back if Leica won't repair them FOC, unless you got them at a real bargain price that is. I have the 10x42 Geovids and I have no issues with the rangefinder in them at all. I used to have a Leica CRF1200 and never experienced any issues with that unit either. If the guy that you bought them off is prepared to wait until Leica UK respond with a solution then do that, if he won't then get your money back. Just my opinion of course. Regards Sprags

How old are they? I ask because the rangefinder in the Geovids has a 5 year warranty, or so I have been told.

I have the same, Le Chameau Vierzonord, neoprene lined. Had them since 2003, they just starting to show signs of wear but don't leak. Wear them all the time. I have purchased a pair of the full length zip ones, Le Chameau Chasseurnord I think they're called, just ready for when the Vierzonord eventually do fail.. You'll not go wrong with Le Chameau wellies

Regarding the stock, get a McMillan.

I had my T3 sorted by Chris at UK-Gunworks, bolt know, UKGW bottom metal screws, extended mag release. Chris certainly provides a great service. Regards Sprags
